'Dream Life: Make Your Dreams Your Reality Today' by Cherie Mitchell

Imagine listing all your dreams and goals and one by one, achieving every dream on that list. Imagine not being afraid to step out and live the life you want and deserve. Imagine your Dream Life. Is this the life you are currently living? Why not? We have but one life and our own fears and hesitations often hold us back from truly living. Do we want to tread carefully and safely through our earthly years and arrive at the end of our life time with regrets for the things we have neither achieved nor even attempted? Or do we want to believe we can do everything that we imagine or dream of and just get on and do it? If the meaning of life is to learn all you can then surely the steps towards your dreams and goals are the most important lessons you can gather around yourself? Dream life, then set out to live that life. Dream life and start today.

Read an excerpt:
What a lesson this was for the six year old me. I had been offered an opportunity that I chose not to take. This choice not to accept the opportunity was mine and mine alone. No one else had any bearing on my decision not to embark on this adventure. I had built up the whole journey in my head before even attempting it. I had imagined obstacles and unenjoyable, strenuous efforts with no reward. Instead the journey had been a real highlight for the children who had accepted the opportunity. Not one of my imagined problems had come to fruition and the other children instead had been rewarded with exciting, fun and new experiences.
This lesson was a very big one and I learned it well and I learned it early. From this moment I would never say no to the offer of a new experience. I would not say no to an opportunity. Never again would I let my doubts – all of which proved to be completely groundless on this momentous occasion – hold me back from the joy that life could offer.
How often do adults complete their lives without ever learning this valuable lesson? Imagined blocks, obstacles and the anticipation of much effort with no reward? How often has someone decided against taking up an opportunity because of all the things they thought might go wrong? How often have they detailed the whole process out in their heads, step by step, constructing problems at every point?

What would happen if instead of thinking of all the negative aspects of a proposition you instead accepted it as it was and dealt with each aspect as and if it arose? Why not instead of doubting just take the offer and imagine it at its very end – a happy result with wonderful memories? Why not take out all the imagined obstacles along the way and picture the successful completion? What is stopping you from doing this? Not anyone but yourself.

'Primordial Traditions Vol. 1" by Gwendolyn Taunton

Award Winning Book Back in Print

Primordial Traditions, the recipient of the $10,000 Ashton Wylie Award for Literary Excellence, is finally back in print after a long hiatus. Originally a free quarterly periodical dealing with spiritual and metaphysical philosophy, Primordial Traditions was reprinted in book format in 2009, and received the award for its potential to unite the different Traditions of the world by postulating a core under-lying philosophy.

Unfortunately the original plans for the book were waylaid by a year long sequence of large earthquakes in the author’s country of residence. Following this, the original plans for the book became untenable and the author, Gwendolyn Taunton, relocated and the series halted.

In 2014, Primordial Traditions is back in a second edition, with new and revised content. Now writing under her real name instead of the previous non de plume, Gwendolyn Taunton has assembled and impressive book of over four hundred pages with an excellent design and research.

With subject matter as diverse as religious philosophy, Middle Eastern Mysticism, rites of Ancient Greece and Rome, Norse Berserkers, Tantra, and altered states of consciousness in yoga, Primordial Traditions covers an extremely diverse range of topics, some of which are clearly intended to be aimed at an audience of highly educated readers. This is tempered however, by some less intense and more relaxing articles on Celtic & Viking history, Mayan astrology, and even some dealing with law and finance. These articles, though not as hefty, are equally fascinating and add to the quality of the volume by virtue of their unique topics.

After sitting down and reading the book cover to cover, it’s easy to see how such a philosophical approach to religion could benefit humanity by teaching a sensible, moderate, and logical approach to faith that ends religious conflicts and prevents dogma and fundamentalism from damaging spiritual movements. All in all, Gwendolyn Taunton’s greatest achievement here is perhaps a philosophical victory rather than a literary one, because this is a concept I could easily see changing not only the way religion and spirituality are conceived, but also the very nature of the concept itself. By reading and spreading the philosophy of the Primordial Tradition, I already feel secure that this book will make the world a better, happier, and safer place.

Gwendolyn Taunton is a previous recipient of the Ashton Wylie Award for Literary Excellence. She has edited and written a number of works, including Primordial Traditions, Melpomene (an anthology of poetry and prose), Kratos: the Hellenic Tradition, and Mimir: The Journal of North European Tradition. Other works written under the pseudonym 'Gwendolyn Toynton' include Northern Traditions and Mythos: The Myths and Tales of H.P. Lovecraft & Robert E. Howard. Over the years Gwendolyn has also written for other publications, including New Dawn Magazine.

Gwendolyn Taunton also holds a BA (Hons) in Religious Studies and has a strong interest in all spiritual matters and philosophy. Gwendolyn is also a graphic designer and she has a interest in the arts and the humanities. Gwendolyn Taunton is devoted to restoring the cultural values which should be at the core of our civilization and upholds the right for all indigenous peoples to preserve their cultural heritage. She is also firmly committed to the preservation of the natural environment and animal welfare.

'Perspective' by Matthew Douglas Rainbow Walker

In this book, Rainbow Walker encourages you to look at yourself, your life and the world through a different "Perspective". Their inspirational words may help you see that by looking within, learning to love and accept yourself for who you truly are; may enable you to see the perspectives and projections of others that cause you to lose the ability to see your true potential, or to keep you from moving forward. Explore Perspective at

Take a sneak peek at some of the wisdom within:
....Your perspective of yourself, others, life, and the world can vary from how others view you, themselves, life and the world. Depending on your point of view, you can see the world around you as harsh, cold, and cruel, or as positive, loving and hopeful...

...The symphony of life has many conductors, players, and parts to be played. Your part is different from that of every other person. You are the musician and the instrument, and the music of your life begins with what you choose to play. The energy you put out, results either in a world filled with negativity if you choose to view it that way, or in world of positivity if you choose that view...

...To create change in the world, start by shifting your perspective and changing yourself. At the same time in this world, change is inevitable. Even if you take a stand in your life and say, "I will not change”; the universe will still bring change...

...Life is an illusion, a series of tests, lessons, accomplishments and experiences. Failures do not matter in life other than to allow you to see the difference between a failure and a success. Know that these failures are nothing but steps towards where you want to be...

See how "Sara in Montana" forever changes the lives of Sara and Trent as well as those around them.

Summary of Amazon Reader Reviews of 'Romance: “Sara in Montana “ A Young Adult and Adult Romance, Heart-Warming Holidays Romance of Forgiveness, Love and Togetherness, Christian Christmas Fiction book as a Love Story':
"An intriguing and Brilliant read! A very well developed storyline. There is just nothing more frustrating than a boring outstretched story. Not this one! I absolutely loved the Author's writing style. Fast paced and to the point with excellent surprises along the way. As you read you become entangled together with the characters, the plots and surroundings. The Author writes so well you feel you are their with them, experiencing the same as they do.

Sarah the main character, realized what she originally thought is the only thing she ever wanted is exactly the one thing she has to run from to save her life. Then something happens making her have to stay in a far away town filled with surprising twists and turns. Sarah and Trent, the town's Sheriff will entice you with what is about to happen...

What an absolutely stunning read. I highly recommend this book to anyone that loves a combination of romance and fear, mystery and drama and coated with some Christmas Magic entangling you as the snow rains down on Sarah and Trent's parade. Morris Fenris doesn't just write novels.. for a story as brilliant as this one it must be conjured."
"This holiday romance novel captivated me! In it, we get to know Sara, who is running from trouble in California and ends up in small-town Montana on a cold wintery night. Sick, cold, and afraid, Sara gets help from Trent, the handsome sheriff who shows her the beauty of a northern Christmas. The story gets really interesting when the FBI and DEA enter the picture as they are hunting down Sara's ex-husband, who is involved in the Colombian drug trade. Amidst all of this, we also meet the Mercers, who are suffering from their own tragic circumstances, as well as Sara's sister Grace and Trent's aunt Jane. Together, all of these characters and their relationships make a great story. This contemporary romance is full of hope and belief in the magic of Christmas. It is a wonderful, interesting book with a great ending. Highly recommended! "

"There was something about this book that I could just relate to and really get into. I loved the characters and the story line. It was something different for a holiday read and once I started reading it, I just found it hard to put down. Highly recommended!!"

"If you like romance and mystery, you should like this book."

"It had suspense, clean romance and Christmas miracles, who could ask for anything more!"

"Excellent story. No messy violence & great ending. I could not put it down. The whole story was about love & family & community at a very special time."'S

'Yesterday Mourning' by Renita Bryant

Date Published:
May 2013

Yvette is a forty-one year old woman struggling to cope with losing both parents during her twenties—one to terminal disease and the other to life’s complications. Over the years, she learned to repress the pain of watching her mother die and the resentment of having her father casually walk out of her life. Now as she packs her bags to return to her Georgia hometown and the house where final goodbyes were never spoken, a growing sense of uneasiness intensifies.

Vera is the kind-hearted stepsister Yvette never imagined nor wanted. She was an innocent teenager in search of answers when Yvette’s father, the Pastor, entered her life. Although broken from the loss of his beloved wife and daughters, he gave Vera the love and affection she so desperately needed. However, a childhood secret threatens to compromise everything Vera holds dear.

When the Pastor’s health takes a turn for the worse, both daughters must decide if they have the strength and courage to no longer be confined to burdens of the past. Will Yvette overcome feelings of abandonment and forgive her father before it’s too late? Does Vera’s childhood secret hold the key to mending this family’s broken relationship?

Yesterday Mourning is a heartfelt and poignant novella about two women learning invaluable lessons of forgiveness, love, loss and ultimately—peace. It is an impressive debut from an author with an authentic voice and a love for storytelling.

Read an excerpt:
I didn’t know what to say.

Two years had passed since I last laid eyes on him, and I had no clue what would be the first or final words spoken. Maybe I'd ask for an in-depth explanation as to why he didn’t try harder to salvage the relationship we built—the love we shared.
While I wanted to hear his answers, my heart recognized that simple words wouldn’t make our truth any less real. Our perspectives had changed because our lives had changed. Our interactions had transformed into something entirely different than the possibilities we would have imagined a few years ago.

A part of me wanted to run away in hopes of avoiding both him and the complexity of this moment—a moment built on the promise of closure. However, running away stopped being an option a long time ago, and as such, I got the privilege of sitting on a concrete step under an August Georgia sun waiting for my father to turn the corner into our cul-de-sac. I got to wonder whether he would try to hug me or engage in small talk—or do the unexpected and admit fault for the current state of our situation.

I wish things had been different. I wish he had made a different choice—one that involved me, or at least considered me. I replayed our conversations often, wondering whether I was too sensitive or whether he really was as heartless and selfish as I perceived him to be.

We were both mourning a loss—a wife, a mother. He yearned to feel her touch just as I longed to see her smile. Her voice had coached us both through the funeral, the holidays, and the random moments such as being in the grocery store and seeing a grapefruit and remembering how much she loved them. Both of us had changed hospital bed sheets, paged nurses, and authorized procedures while feeling her slip away from our hopeful grasps. The sting of tears on wishful cheeks was no less painful for either of us. Our tears just fell in two different states and for two very different reasons. The reasons were what hindered me from knowing what I should say to him.
