**My thoughts**
Ah, the nostalgia of a family home and not wanting to let go of it. I think I felt that part of the story right in my very core, coming from a family that had been in business in a small city for over 80 years. Laura does everything she can to prevent the loss of this beloved inn, because it really is her life's dream to maintain. And of course, Jonathan needs this deal to go through so that he can achieve his dream of making partner. And yet the two of them cannot deny their attraction to each other. They have fantastic banter right from the start, demonstrating a chemistry that you know is going to have win out in spite of their differences in goals for this inn. You know they're going to have to find a way to make this work to the advantage of both of them, because you want them to make it work. Bonus points for how good Jonathan is with Laura's daughter, which is of the utmost importance.

Just as charming and taking a major role in this book is the setting. I haven't been to Cape Cod since I was very young, but I felt like I was right there experiencing every single food, store, and sight along with them. I really want to go back and experience all it has to offer. Bonus points if I could somehow actually find my way into this precise setting of the book.

Another thing that I appreciated with this book was that while it is considered a Christian romance, and faith is extremely important, particularly to Laura, it wasn't in-your-face about it. I feel like that helps to open it up to a broader audience that is looking for a sweet, feel-good romance to enjoy.

And can I just say that I think this would be a great contender for a Hallmark-type movie?

Thank you to the author, publisher, and Prism Book Tours for providing me with a requested review copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
