**My thoughts**
This is a book of devotions for kids that makes sense. It goes through the gospels, sharing particular verses. It then not only explains what the verses mean, but also connects them to the child's life in a way that makes sense, or asks questions and gives explanations that should help it make sense for the kid to understand. And then each day's devotion ends with a simple prayer.

I would recommend this for middle grade elementary through maybe junior high/middle school age. I think it would be a bit too juvenile for high schoolers. This could be used independently or as part of a small group study.

Thank you to the publisher for providing me a review copy via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
